Barb has been selling real estate since 1992. She has lived in beautiful Van Buren County, Iowa all her life. She is a member of the Keosauqua Rotary Club and on the board of the Keosauqua Chamber of Commerce and is a past city council member. Barb is also a member of the Van Buren County Trails Association. She enjoys walking, biking and playing with her grandchildren in her spare time. Jim got his real estate license in 2000. Jim has lived in Van Buren County all his life. He has been an active farmer, a farm equipment mechanic/owner and now works with son Nick in his outfitting business along with selling real estate. Tyler is a native of Keosauqua, Iowa where he has spent the majority of his life. After completing high school, Tyler joined the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Quantico, VA. After his service, he started attending The College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn, IL and ended up moving back to Ames, IA to complete his B.S. degree in Turfgrass Science at Iowa State University. After graduating, Tyler started taking his real estate classes and completed them in January 2011. Tyler is married to Jenny Boley and has two kids, Piper and Hayden and lives in Albia, IA. I am a native of Unadilla, a small town in the Southern Tier Region of Upstate New York. I relocated to Central Iowa in 1993. A strong desire to hunt Southern Iowa’s giant bucks brought me to Southeast Iowa in 2004. In 2007 I received my Real Estate License and I have spent the last 10 years helping buyers and sellers find common ground and fulfilling their dreams. Residing in Jefferson County with my wife Kris and children Ben, Gabe, & Katherine has given me the opportunity to spend many great days afield with my family and friends chasing giant whitetails and long bearded turkeys. Tayler is a native of Pella, and has grown up in the heart of Iowa, and has never lost his passion for bowhunting trophy whitetails and turkeys. He went to college at Iowa State University where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Horticulture and Turfgrass Science, as well as a minor in Agronomy, in 2010. Tayler finished his real estate classes and became a licensed agent in the spring of 2012. He is now living in Mahaska County near Oskaloosa, and is managing his own properties for whitetails and turkeys. He has lived and hunted in Mahaska/Marion and the surrounding counties for 20+ years, and is very well acclimated with the area. Some of my most cherished memories are from early childhood hunting trips with my dad and uncle. The stories told and time spent bonding in those deep hardwood hills of Missouri surely left an imprint on me. My passion for Whitetails and the outdoors only seemed to intensify as I moved first to Kansas and then finally here to Iowa in search of the hunting opportunities I longed for. It only took one short visit to know this would be the place my wife and I would raise our kids. In 2012, I was fortunate to land a position with Pioneer Hi-Bred, which gave us the chance to make the move. Shortly after, I transferred my Kansas Real Estate license, and began working for Mossy Oak Properties in early 2013. My name is Travis Potzner and I have lived in Madison County, Iowa all my life. I have grown up around the tradition of Whitetail Deer hunting and have been blessed with a family whose passion runs as deep as mine. I started out as a 5 year-old sitting patiently and quietly in the woods with my dad. I had harvested my first Whitetail buck with my bow at age 7, and have continued this addiction and tradition to this day. There are not many days between opening day and the last day of hunting season that you won’t find me in the deer woods. I have been brought up to respect and manage Whitetails from an early age because of the importance that it has on their environment and my hunting opportunities. I believe that Iowa is God’s Country and is THE best place to hunt Whitetail Deer. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa where I achieved a degree in Finance and Real Estate. UNI is one of the only universities that offers this program to students and I took full advantage of it. I finished my education for my Iowa Real Estate license in 2014 and have been working hard with Mossy Oak Properties ever since. I love living in Iowa and have never lived outside the state. In fact, I have never lived in any county other than Appanoose ! I grew up on Lake Rathbun, only 1 mile West of the dedication site, in the Island View Area. I loved growing up on a small family farm, where we all helped with milking cows, baling hay and gardening. I also love ‘small town Iowa”, and currently live on a small acreage within the city limits of Centerville, with my husband, Rick. We have 5 grown children and 15 school age grandchildren. My career has been spent in retail management, most recently managing 2 businesses for the Morgan Cline Companies. I operated The Exline Old Country Store & Antique Exchange, in Exline, and Morgan’s Ice Cream Parlor, located on the historic Centerville square. I love working outside, and have a special eye for curb appeal, whether I am working on our own yard, or driving around critiquing other properties.
